As a key member of the SENG LIY ENGINEERING (M) SDN BHD finance team, you will oversee the entire finance department and drive strategic financial operations. Your leadership skills will guide the finance team to achieve company goals.

The successful candidate will ensure all financial reports and documents are properly maintained and up-to-date. Regularly, they will report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on financial performance, accounting issues, and risk areas.

This role requires staying current with financial-related matters and overseeing the overall performance, efficiency, and effectiveness of the day-to-day operations of the finance department.

You will develop, implement, and monitor departmental policies, procedures, and processes, as well as review and ensure all accounting transactions are recorded accurately, timely, and completely.

Furthermore, this position involves reviewing and monitoring the financial reports, including cash flow, budgets, analysis, and ratios. You will also liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and bankers.

Job Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have a Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent, with at least 3-5 years of working experience in the related field.

Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, possessing good written and verbal communication skills, and able to work independently and as a team.
