  3. The Country Credit team sets and executes credit risk management policies using data and technology to minimize risk.
Get to Know the Role

We're looking for a Risk Associate who will manage and structure internal and external data, automate credit risk assessment processes, and develop dashboards to monitor portfolio risk performance.

  1. You will report to Head of Credit Risk and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the lending portfolio.
  2. This role is based onsite at the Grab Malaysia office and involves developing and implementing end-to-end credit frameworks and policies.
Critical Tasks You Will Perform

As a Risk Associate, you will uncover insights from credit models and collaborate with lending and collections teams to minimize credit loss.

  1. You will design and implement performance dashboards to provide actionable insights for senior management.
  2. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven strategies, credit policies, and collection strategies while minimizing credit loss.
  3. You will monitor credit performance, identify underwriting weaknesses, and adapt to new methods for business growth.
Essential Skills You Will Need
  1. You have a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or a relevant background.
  2. You have 5+ years of relevant work experience in credit risk management roles within the financial services or FinTech industry.
  3. You have excellent analytical thinking, combining technical expertise with strategic insight.
  4. You demonstrated strong presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
