This Manufacturing Supervisor role is responsible for overseeing daily operations within a manufacturing department, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience (2 years) and strong communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, subordinates, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Compliance and Quality: Ensure all manufacturing personnel comply with procedures defined in the Quality System, Company Policies, and relevant regulations.
- Team Supervision: Supervise hiring, training, and performance of associates and leads to achieve high-quality results.
- Documentation and Training: Collaborate with Quality and Process engineering departments to document product assembly steps and acceptance criteria in manufacturing documentation.
- Visual Aids and Access: Ensure manufacturing lines have access to necessary visual aids and physical documents for easy reference by associates and leads.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Supervising experience (2 years)
- Effective written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge/experience on ISO 13485 requirements and Quality System Regulation
- CGMP requirements knowledge and experience in FDA and ISO medical device requirements
- Experience with electrical/optical products
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
This position requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking. Daily computer use is necessary, and some local travel is required, so a valid driver's license is necessary.
