  • We assign audit tasks to clients across various industries, and you will be responsible for performing these assignments.
  • It's essential to stay up-to-date with Accounting & Auditing Standards, MPERS, MFRS, IFRS, and other relevant laws and regulations. This requires initiative and a strong understanding of the subject matter.
  • You will communicate effectively within our team and with external parties to gather information, resolve problems, and provide recommendations for business and process improvements.
  • Able to travel to different states in Malaysia for audit engagements, this role requires flexibility and adaptability.
  • You will be expected to complete assigned tasks within the given deadline, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • In addition to regular audits, you may be required to perform ad-hoc duties such as financial due diligence, Initial Public Offerings, or corporate exercises.

Requirements

  • Candidates must possess a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking or equivalent (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MICPA).
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently are essential, along with meeting deadlines.
  • This role requires a strong team player with good interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
  • The required language skills include Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin.
  • Knowledge and experience with CCH System are considered an advantage.
  • Applicants should have at least 2-3 years of experience gained in a professional accounting practice (applicable to senior associates). Fresh graduates and those with less than 1 year of relevant working experience are also encouraged to apply.
