About the Company: Ambient Concept Sdn Bhd is a well-established construction company that prioritizes customer satisfaction and excellence. We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Quality Control Specialist to join our team.

Job Description: Your primary duties will include:

1. Ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
2. Providing technical data to the commercial manager
3. Reviewing and validating certification of contractor pay applications
4. Claims financial analysis and recommendation to the client
5. Maintaining consistent and adequate administration procedures
6. Identifying documents and coordinating with construction managers to resolve potential issues
7. Quantifying and estimating costs for proposed variations/ change orders
8. Participating in change order negotiations
9. Preparing cost estimates for each potential change
10. Generating and processing necessary change order documentation
11. Resolving requests for equitable adjustment, contract disputes, and contract claims
12. Managing provisional sum expenditures and monthly cost reporting

Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Quality Control
• At least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
• Integrity and honesty
• Mandarin speaking is a plus
