This role is designed for an exceptional tax professional who will play a crucial part in ensuring Hiredly X adheres to tax laws both locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • The selected candidate will oversee direct and indirect tax compliance matters for Hiredly X entities worldwide, guaranteeing adherence to relevant regulations.
  • They will be responsible for preparing and reviewing transfer pricing documentation and assisting in the implementation of TP requirements for related companies' transactions.
  • Support the Accounts team by providing expertise on tax provision calculation.
  • Liaise with tax authorities, government agencies, tax consultants, and other external parties on all tax matters for Hiredly X entities globally.
  • Assist business/operating units in understanding the tax implications of new business structures/transactions.
  • Handle tax audits and queries from tax administration as needed.
  • Follow up on findings from tax audits and advise on required changes to improve tax compliance status.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Commerce Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualifications from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a tax/accounting/commercial firm is required; experience in the property development industry is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of IFCA software is a plus.
  • Excellent command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese – both verbal and written.
  • Possess an analytical mind, curious nature, meticulous, committed, and willing to learn.
  • Able to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and good time management expected.
