Job Description:

At Connect Energy, we are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Engineer to join our team.

This role involves reviewing enquiry documentation and Scope of Work, as well as preparing and issuing engineering deliverables. Site visits may be required.

  1. Upon receiving allocated duties, the successful candidate will review enquiry documentation from clients together with the Scope of Work to understand requirements. Queries will be raised through Senior Engineers where clarity is lacking. The candidate will interface with other disciplines through Senior Engineers to ensure integrated activities.
  2. The Instrumentation Engineer will prepare specifications, data sheets, and undertake calculations to meet task requirements.
  3. He/she will verify drafting for compliance with other engineering documents.
  4. The candidate will coordinate with the Design Office (DOC).
  5. They will prepare procurement requests (PR), including Bill of Materials, specifications, datasheets/drawings, inspection test requirements, and vendor data requirements.
  6. The successful candidate will conduct technical evaluations of vendor offers to ensure PR technical details are satisfied.
  7. He/she will assist Senior Engineers in pre-engineering site surveys to provide input information for detailed engineering.
  8. The Instrumentation Engineer will prepare material take-offs for EPC projects.
  9. Familiarity with standard industry discipline-related software, e.g., INTOOLS, is essential.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Good understanding of specific engineering disciplines.
  • Knowledge of engineering specifications and software.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
