About the Role

  • Create and execute a comprehensive social media strategy plan aligned with OCBC's communications and marketing goals.
  • Develop a digital optimisation plan to enhance online engagement and drive business growth.
  • Manage OCBC's social media presence across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Evaluate emerging social media trends and recommend platform strategies for OCBC or its business units.

Main Responsibilities

The Social Media & Digital lead will oversee and manage OCBC's social media platforms, creating engaging content and executing campaigns to increase brand awareness and customer engagement. The role requires collaboration with departments across the organisation to ensure consumer engagement and grow social media metrics.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Creative, analytical, and well-informed about the latest social media trends and relevant policies, both globally and in Malaysia.
  • Strong command of English, with a solid understanding of Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Able to build and manage a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to work confidently across divisions.
  • Familiarity with Performance media, Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
