FPSO Instrumentation and Telecom Specialist

At Synapsco, we are seeking a highly skilled FPSO Instrumentation and Telecom Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all instrumentation and telecom systems on the FPSO are designed, installed, and operated in accordance with international standards and Company rules.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation and telecom engineering, with a minimum of 12 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. They will be responsible for collaborating with the Engineering Leader, ICSS Lead, and other discipline engineers to ensure that all engineering interfaces are properly managed.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that all deliverables related to instrumentation and telecom systems are timely issued and fitted for purpose. They will review deviations to Company specifications or deviations requests/technical queries and ensure that all documentation is compliant with Project Specifications and Procedures.

The FPSO Instrumentation and Telecom Specialist will participate in project reviews as requested by Company requirements and prepare or participate in Safety / Technical Audits for their discipline. They will also liaise actively with TotalEnergies Headquarters and Affiliate teams for any needed support.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the Engineering Leader, ICSS Lead, and other discipline engineers to ensure that all engineering interfaces are properly managed.
  2. Ensure that all deliverables related to instrumentation and telecom systems are timely issued and fitted for purpose.
  3. Review deviations to Company specifications or deviations requests/technical queries.
  4. Participate in project reviews as requested by Company requirements.
  5. Liaise actively with TotalEnergies Headquarters and Affiliate teams for any needed support.

Requirements:

Professional Experience: At least 12 years

Experience within project: At least 8 years
