Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Data Center Operations Director to join our team at CBRE Asia Pacific. As a data center operations director, you will be responsible for managing the department that resolves and completes day-to-day work orders to meet customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience; in lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.

The successful candidate will be able to provide formal supervision to employees, monitor their training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching, and oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. They will also be able to coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.

The Data Center Operations Director will also be responsible for reviewing work logs and outstanding items through the in-house system to ensure completion, retaining records and presenting to clients upon request. They will require contractors and staff to comply with all company, client safety, and security requirements, approving new vendors and maintaining relationships with current ones.

The Data Center Operations Director will develop and implement critical services training programs, meet regularly with senior management and key stakeholders to provide status reports, and share advanced expertise and industry experience with the team to help resolve operational problems.

The ideal candidate will have leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department. They will also have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc., and extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
