About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Managed Cloud Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our SAP systems, including database administration, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.

You will work closely with our development teams to implement new features and technologies, and collaborate with our infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Database administration, including planning and performing upgrades, applying maintenance, designing and maintaining physical database layout, performing reorganizations, designing and implementing backup and restore strategies, maintaining security, administering performance, managing storage, problem determination, and resolution.
  • Performance monitoring and tuning, problem analysis and resolution, and other activities required to maintain system integrity.
  • SAP system migration to AWS/Azure cloud, installation and configuration using DMO (SUM tool) and SWPM export/import.
  • Infrastructure sizing assessments and recommendations per SAP practices.
  • Maintenance and advancement of technical skills and knowledge to keep up-to-date with market trends and competitive insights, sharing within the technical community.
  • Documentation of SAP processes, procedures, and plans, including changes, upgrades, and new services.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in handling different SAP systems, OS & Databases.
  • Strong understanding of SAP technology stack, including SAP Basis, ABAP, Java, and HANA.
  • Experience with database administration, including design, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
