Precast Detailing and Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Precast Detailing and Design Engineer to join our team at SEER S&R. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed structural steel models in Tekla Structures software and generating fabrication drawings and material lists from the models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform 2D detailing and drafting of precast structures using AutoCAD.
  • Perform 3D modeling and detailing of precast structures using Tekla.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of designs.
  • Use industry standards and best practices to ensure quality and efficiency of designs.
  • Communicate with fabricators and contractors to ensure successful fabrication and construction of structures.
  • Review and analyze project specifications and requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Participate in design and construction meetings as needed.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering and/or related field with a minimum of 1 year of experience in precast detailing.
  • Knowledge and work experience in using AutoCAD and Tekla Structure software.
  • Willingness to work extra hours when required, including rest days and public holidays.
