Job Summary
This role involves treating patients with a wide range of urgent care needs, including but not limited to minor injuries, illnesses, and medical conditions. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing effective treatment plans, and providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform physical examinations as needed
- Order diagnostic tests and treatments based on initial evaluations and patient needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare professionals
- Administer medications and provide therapeutic interventions as necessary
Requirements:
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care Medicine
- Minimum one year of experience in an outpatient medical clinic or urgent care center
- Licensure to practice medicine in accordance with state law
- BLS certification
