Welding Operations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Welding Operations Director to join our team at Upright Talent. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to take on a leadership position and drive the success of our metal manufacturing operations.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in welding processes or functions, preferably with a background in metal work. Management experience is also highly desirable.

• Develop and Maintain Welding Procedures: Develop and maintain welding procedures to meet ISO standards, ensuring that all processes are optimized for quality and efficiency.
• Staff Performance and Training: Ensure staff performance, training, and appraisals align with their roles, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their positions.
• Work Progress and Quality Control: Monitor and coordinate work progress to meet quality standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
• Resource Optimization: Plan manpower, resources, and layouts to optimize efficiency, minimizing waste and maximizing productivity.
• Process Enhancement: Improve welding processes, quality, and implement enhancements to stay ahead of industry standards.
• Cost Management: Manage costs, revenue reports, and departmental assets, ensuring that financial goals are met.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure safety, 5S practices, and environmental compliance, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
• Tech Collaboration: Collaborate with teams on new products, audits, and technology, driving innovation and growth.
