Procurement Strategist

We are seeking a skilled M&E Construction Procurement Manager to play a pivotal role in the success of construction projects by overseeing the procurement process, encompassing sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and services.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for M&E construction projects that align with company objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts that meet business requirements.
• Evaluate the quality and cost-effectiveness of materials and services to ensure optimal value.
• Monitor market trends and adjust procurement strategies accordingly to stay competitive.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project schedules and deadlines.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand procurement needs and priorities.
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities for transparency and auditing purposes.
• Comply with company policies and relevant regulations to maintain a high level of integrity.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the M&E construction industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of M&E construction materials and industry trends to make informed procurement decisions.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite to streamline operations.
