Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. As a key member of our operations team, you will provide technical support to ensure smooth Assembly operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing engineering support for manufacturing, including assembly, customer service, planning, IPM, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support company goals, policies, and objectives by providing technical expertise and guidance to operations teams.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret corporate documentation and other reference materials to determine manufacturing requirements and processing procedures.
  3. Develop and maintain product structures (BOM) and routing in Oracle, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  4. Resolve manufacturing/assembly problems encountered on the shop floor, providing timely and effective solutions.
  5. Provide engineering support for new product introduction, including equipment setup and training for assemblers.
  6. Develop work procedures and provide training for operators and supervisors to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  7. Attend CSN calls with QA and customers as required, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
  8. Contribute to safety KPIs within the department and plant level, promoting a safe working environment.
  9. Work collaboratively with the team to meet production and project-related goals and cost objectives.
Requirements
  1. Minimum years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of evaluating and executing manufacturing documentation and procedure development.
  2. Strong drafting application skills and techniques, with knowledge of material characteristics and ability to interpret manufacturing and engineering source documents.
  3. Experience in a mechanical assembly manufacturing environment, with a focus on technical support and problem-solving.
  4. Ability to work in a team environment, with strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate well with all levels of staff.
  5. Preferred qualifications include a degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical/Electronic, or Industrial Engineering.
