About the Role

Smart Paint Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is a leading manufacturer of high-quality paints. We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Executive to join our team in Johor. This full-time position will play a crucial role in our Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement of raw materials, components, and other supplies required for production.
  • Liaise with suppliers to negotiate favourable contract terms and monitor performance.
  • Coordinate with production and inventory teams to forecast and plan for future material requirements.
  • Analyse market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to all purchasing activities.
  • Assist in developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to manage supplier relationships.
  • Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving to drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and procurement software.
