Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Sinotrans Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the transportation of goods across Malaysia.

Main Responsibilities

  • To Update POD for all hubs and Klang Valley: Ensure that Proof of Delivery (POD) is accurately updated for all deliveries in the region.
  • To Update GPS location in Navision system for Courts: Maintain up-to-date GPS coordinates for courts in the Navision system.
  • To Print DN and documentation for delivery: Print delivery notes and accompanying documentation for successful deliveries.
  • To check In-transit status in Navision: Monitor the in-transit status of shipments in the Navision system.
  • To update Driver Score Card for each driver: Regularly update driver scorecards to track performance.
  • To plan transport planning, route planning, communicate with drivers and customers: Plan and coordinate transportation routes, communicate effectively with drivers and customers.

Additional Responsibilities

  • POD Management: Call each driver to submit POD at the end of delivery, update POD into Navision system (Courts), and update reason code for failed deliveries.
  • GPS Updating: Extract delivery addresses for KV deliveries, update GPS coordinates into Navision.
  • Outbound Shipment (Printing DN) for outbound shipment: Print DS and DN into the system, pass DS to Inventory team, print DN and DS for each driver.
  • Returns Stocks/ Bring Down: Monitor returns or bring down from drivers unable to deliver due to customer deferring shipment, plan next delivery to match new orders.
