About the Job Description
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the software integrates seamlessly with hardware components and meets the required performance and safety standards. The responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and testing applications for automated machinery and equipment.
- Collaborating with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software with mechanical and electrical components.
- Diagnosing and resolving software and hardware issues in a timely manner.
- Optimizing software performance to enhance the efficiency and reliability of equipment.
- Creating and maintaining detailed documentation for software applications, including design specifications, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
- Ensuring all software solutions comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software development processes and tools.
- Providing training and support to end-users and other stakeholders on the operation and maintenance of software systems.
About the Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronic & Electrical, Computer Science, or related field)
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant engineering experience, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Extensive knowledge of automation systems, software development, and process control.
- Experience in system integration, design, and implementation of complex engineering solutions.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard engineering tools and practices.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience mentoring junior engineers.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing automation is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest engineering trends and technologies.
