Job Title: Legal Specialist III

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Specialist III to join our team at Boston Scientific Gruppe. As a key member of our legal department, you will provide expert legal advice and support to our business operations, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal guidance on business operations, growth initiatives, and compliance matters.
• Develop and implement local policies and SOPs, collaborating with the Regional Legal & Compliance department.
• Be the legal and compliance subject matter expert for the business, enabling growth while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
• Ensure contracts are executed in compliance with company policies and SOPs.
• Partner with stakeholders to implement the legal and compliance program.
• Provide expert legal guidance on procurement matters, including contracts, negotiations, and supplier interactions.
• Review and analyze data for legal documents, reports, and correspondence to identify potential risks and liabilities.
• Work with the regional Legal & Compliance team on legal and compliance management initiatives and deliver training.
• Support other members of the Legal & Compliance Team and perform other tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Candidate must hold at least a Bachelor's Degree in Law.
• Legal background with experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, particularly supply chain and procurement experience in Malaysia is preferred.
• At least 3 to 5 years of post-qualified experience with reputable law firms and in-house organizations as legal counsel.
• Strong command of English and proficiency in at least one other ASEAN language is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to Batu Kawan, Penang.
