We are looking for a skilled Ledger Clerk to assist in managing a comprehensive set of accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system. Maintain General Ledger (GL) entries and adjustments. Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports.

Customer Account Management

Issue invoices, statements of accounts, and receipts to customers. Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections. Maintain accurate customer account statements and credit control to avoid overdue accounts.

Supplier Management

Verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests to ensure timely supplier payments and maintain good vendor relationships. Perform timely bank reconciliation.

Tax Compliance & Audits

Assist in SST filings and ensure compliance with LHDN regulations. Support payroll processing and prepare financial documents for external audits and tax filings.

Financial Operations

Monitor company cash flow, update cash position reports, and prepare bank reconciliation statements. Liaise with banks on payment transactions and other financial matters.

Requirements
  • The candidate must possess at least a SPM cert (accounting subject) / vokasional politeknik equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of working experience in the related field is required. Working experience in the TRAVEL industry is an advantage.
  • The candidate must have initiative, be reliable, and possess strong integrity. Ability to work independently and possess good attitude. Attention to details.
  • Good communication skills - spoken and written (English).
  • Proficiency in Ms Excel and Ms Word.
