Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support J2EE web applications and e-commerce websites, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Utilize expertise in J2EE, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL to create scalable and efficient code, troubleshooting technical issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to meet user requirements and expectations, ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs, providing technical advice and solutions, and communicating project goals and progress effectively.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of e-commerce sites, implementing best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, proactively suggesting improvements and innovations to enhance the quality and performance of e-commerce solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a web developer, with a strong focus on e-commerce platforms, and proven experience in developing and managing projects on Magento and/or Adobe Commerce Cloud.
  • Familiarity with J2EE programming, Spring Boot, microservices, Thymeleaf, Git, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and CICD.
  • Strong understanding of J2EE applications and design frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Magento and/or Adobe Commerce (or other e-commerce platform) Cloud architecture, modules, and themes.
  • Proficient in SQL (MySQL), including writing complex queries.
  • Extensive experience in PHP programming is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks and debugging techniques.
