Job Summary

We are looking for a Commodity Management Specialist to manage and execute quarterly quoting activities, maintain supply bases for global commodities, and support quoting, price analysis, and sourcing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain a comprehensive list of suppliers and their commodity offerings in the quoting system.
  2. Collaborate with Commodity Quotes Manager (CQM), Global Commodity Manager (GCM), and sector teams to refine supplier inclusion in quoting processes.
  3. Conduct thorough price analysis and sourcing activities for GCM commodities and sectors parts, ensuring optimal pricing and lead times.
  4. Prepare and review quote packages, soliciting quotes from suppliers and analyzing responses for accuracy and completeness.
  5. Maintain records of reliable suppliers and their associated data.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of purchasing experience in high-volume electronics manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent PC and analytical skills.
  • Strong ability to interpret instructions and communicate effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in work assignments and deadlines.
