Job Description

As a QA/QC Engineer at Flowserve Corporation, you will support the development, implementation, and running of quality control programs and procedures. This position involves translating customer specifications and industry standards into product/process criteria and creating control plans to achieve those requirements.

You will address day-to-day issues with production quality within the manufacturing plant, at customer sites, and supplier facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with production to plan and execute inbound and production checks.
  • Manage relations with customers or third-party inspectors.
  • Participate in external supplier quality testing and audits.
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) events.
  • Monitor product portfolio KPIs and drive effective root cause corrective actions where necessary.
  • Analyze data to provide information or identify problems for management and stakeholders on process or product quality.
  • Collaborate with departments to clarify/resolve issues related to QC activities.
  • Offer all documents as per QAP to customers after coordinating with internal departments and closing documentation queries.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have experience in engineering and utilization of Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies in a manufacturing environment. They should also have experience in audit and quality control departments, understanding of product/process flow, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of relevant experience are preferred.
