Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet business requirements by leveraging expertise in scripting languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript, and Python.
  • Architect and manage complex SIEM data storage and processing solutions to protect against cyber threats.
  • Extract and manipulate data along the data pipeline using skills in networking protocols, encryption, and data loss prevention systems.
  • Design and implement new data processing algorithms for processing high volumes of data to drive business insights.
  • Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights and inform strategic decisions.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3-5 years working experience in similar functions with a strong background in data engineering and cyber security.
  • Expertise in scripting languages, including PowerShell, JavaScript, and Python, with the ability to write efficient and scalable code.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols, encryption, data loss prevention systems, and cloud platforms (PaaS, IaaS, etc.).
  • Experience managing Windows and Linux servers with a strong understanding of security best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of SIEM and logging solutions, including Splunk, Scalyr, Dataset, Cribl, syslog-ng, Elastic, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
