The Job Description

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for employee expense claim auditing and compliance handling as the Subject Matter Expert (SME). You will contribute to the project team led by Business Process Management (BPM), driving assessment, documentation, training, and knowledge sharing for a successful business service transition to Roche Services and Solutions (RSS).

Operational Responsibilities

  • You will actively contribute to the Chugai OneT&E implementation project as the SME.
  • You are responsible for assessing the compliance of employee expense claims in a timely and accurate manner against the Company's Policies, Procedures, and External regulatory requirements.
  • You will clearly document all compliance assessment activities during claim processing.
  • You will escalate issues and recommend resolution plans to the RSS Line Manager and Affiliate (where required).
  • You will support the preparation of reports and training material on a periodic basis to address updates to the compliance monitoring process.
  • In collaboration with your Reporting Line Manager, you will make recommendations to Global Lead, T&E Compliance for process improvement and participate in solution provision activities.
  • You will participate in the transition project by performing user testing activities and developing the T&E Compliance checklist in accordance with relevant policies, regulatory requirements, and procedures.

  • A University degree or above is required (preferably in a business, law, or finance-related major).
  • More than 3 years' experience in compliance reviews or its equivalent in a highly regulated environment or in audit firms is required.
  • Proficiency in English and Japanese is required, with good communication skills essential for supporting counterparts in Japan.
