About the Role

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a Risk Management Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to the Group.
  • You will work closely with the GIA Leadership Team to develop and implement solutions that enhance awareness and engagement of GIA staff to the methodology.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of risk management frameworks in financial or banking institutions and excellent data analytics and visualisation skills.
  • You will maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and inspire and engage all stakeholders to develop a continuous improvement mindset for risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Awareness of both Bank and GIA strategy to align the outcomes of the Audit Universe, Risk Assessment, and Audit Planning methodology and processes.
  • Awareness of the Group's risk management framework and approach and the role of GIA in the framework.
  • Understand the GIA audit methodology and the principal risks impacting the bank.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in the risk assessment and audit planning approach to meet the evolving requirements of the risks associated with the audit universe.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in auditing or risk management backgrounds.
  • Strong data analytics and visualisation skills and the use of Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools (i.e., not just Excel) for storytelling insights to colleagues.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Business (e.g., Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management, Statistics) is preferred.
