The Role

We are seeking an experienced Public Relations Executive Senior to join our team in Malaysia. As a senior member of our client services department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring the successful delivery of communication programs that align with their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations
  1. Client Relationship Management:
    1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts.
    2. Identify client needs and opportunities, providing strategic counsel and innovative solutions.
    3. Manage client expectations and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  2. Project Management:
    1. Oversee complex communication projects from planning to execution and evaluation.
    2. Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
    3. Monitor project progress and implement mitigation strategies.
  3. Team Leadership:
    1. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of communication professionals.
    2. Foster a positive team culture.
    3. Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
  4. Strategic Planning:
    1. Develop comprehensive communication strategies aligned with clients' business objectives.
    2. Conduct research and analysis to identify key trends and opportunities.
    3. Develop and execute innovative communication campaigns.
  5. Financial Management:
    1. Manage project budgets and ensure profitability.
    2. Monitor project expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  6. Business Development:
    1. Contribute to business development efforts.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in public relations in an agency environment.
  • Proven track record of managing complex communication projects and building strong client relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
