IT Termination Specialist

About the Role

We're seeking an IT Termination Specialist to join our team. As a key player in our organisation, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless transition of IT services when clients end their agreements.

Your primary focus will be on facilitating the cease process, collaborating with clients and internal teams to assess and document the impact of ceasing specific technologies on operations and services.

Key responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact during the cease process, submitting and monitoring cease and cancellation requests using Service Now, planning and executing client cancellation procedures, and maintaining detailed documentation of the cease process.

You will also be responsible for co-ordinating compliance certification requests, ensuring all security measures are followed during the cease process, and verifying compliance with client agreements, industry regulations, and data protection laws.

What We Are Looking For

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to work under pressure, especially when a critical issue has occurred.
• Capability to manage your own workload.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to work effectively with clients.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Awareness of IT systems such as servers, network connectivity, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, O365), and software licensing.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks.
