Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Conveyancing Lawyer/ Corporate to join our team at Malaysianbar. As a Conveyancing Lawyer/ Corporate, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of conveyancing and corporate matters, including sub-sales, developer projects, loan documentation, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle sub-sales, developer projects, loan documentation, and other conveyancing matters
  • Manage all loan documentation for financing and re-financing
  • Draft agreements with minimal supervision and errors
  • Liaise with clients, bankers, developers, and governmental bodies
  • Advise clients on conveyancing matters
  • Ensure compliance with relevant procedures, timelines, laws, and regulations
  • Monitor and follow up on files, attend to client correspondences, and prepare status reports
  • Maintain confidentiality in departmental affairs
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the firm

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Laws, LL.B.(Hons.) and current Practicing Certificate
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Conveyancing (project & sub-sale) for Junior, 5 years for Senior
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Hardworking, responsible, and committed to work
  • Willingness to learn, handle stress well, and complete tasks within timelines
  • Attention to details and ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
  • Good communication skills, interpersonal skills, and positive attitude
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia, with Mandarin an added advantage

Corporate & Conveyancing Legal Associate:

  • At least a Degree/Bachelor's Degree/ Master's In Law or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience in general conveyancing & corporate
  • Independent, good communication skills, and responsible
  • Competent in drafting agreements and legal research
  • Good command in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Ability to read and write in Mandarin an advantage

Pupil:

  • Qualified under Legal Profession Act to commence Pupillage
  • Right attitude, well-disciplined, willing to learn, and self-motivated
  • Hardworking, responsible, and committed to work
  • Willingness to learn, handle stress well, and complete tasks within timelines
  • Good communication skills, interpersonal skills, and positive attitude
