Sunway Group is seeking a highly motivated Tax Strategist to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for an individual who can assist in proposing and implementing various tax strategies and planning to ensure optimal tax savings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in providing tax advisory services and support to Business Unit on tax related matters such as corporate tax, sales and services tax, transfer pricing etc.
  • Provide tax compliance services for Sunway Group of companies – including preparation/review/submission of tax returns and tax estimates.
  • Liaise with external tax consultants and tax authority.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting and Finance or ACCA.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in a tax/accounting firm and/or corporate tax department of large corporations.
  • High problem-solving skill with critical thinking mindset.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
