Key Responsibilities
  1. Support Planning Management: Assist the Planning Manager in driving forward both organizations' key priorities for Planning.
  2. Establish Planning Systems: Develop systems and procedures for planning functions to facilitate construction and commissioning monitoring.
  3. Resource Allocation: Ensure opportunities for improving the service are maximized by effective management of resources.
  4. Planning Deliverables: Develop, implement, and maintain planning deliverables, including procedure construction schedules, resource histograms, reporting systems, commodity databases, and material control systems.
  5. Progress Measurement: Prepare detail progress measurement systems for construction commodities and construction progress curves to determine resource requirements and prepare manpower histograms.
  6. Construction Progress Monitoring: Monitor construction work progress for timely project execution through daily/weekly/monthly reports, reviewing overall project status, and resolving problems or scheduling conflicts.
  7. Project Status Review: Continuously review project status and keep the Construction Manager informed of progress and areas needing attention for schedule adherence.
  8. Sub-Contractor Coordination: Provide direction to sub-contractor planning teams in formulating overall execution plans that satisfy project completion interests.
  9. Work Schedule Implementation: Coordinate and follow up with sub-contractors on implementing work schedules and monitor progress for timely project execution.
  10. Area Coordinator Collaboration: Work closely with Area Coordinators to ensure work progresses as per schedule and follows overall project priority.
  11. Review Meetings: Participate in review meetings with clients and sub-contractors.
  12. Trend Identification: Identify trends and alert management of critical activities.
  13. Department Development: Participate in department development activities for continual improvement in the planning system and services.
Requirements

A graduate engineer with approximately 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, conversant with projects and execution, and experience in HO & Site planning.
