Job Responsibilities:
- We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing high-quality products from local and overseas suppliers while ensuring timely delivery and optimal pricing.
- Maintaining accurate purchasing records is crucial to the success of our operations. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for updating these records in our system.
- We rely on our suppliers and vendors to meet our operational schedules and lead times. You will work closely with them to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient supply chain management.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and processing purchase orders and procurement reports to inform business decisions.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills are essential for building strong relationships with our suppliers. You will be responsible for following up on incoming parts and quantities to meet production demands and satisfy customer expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum SPM/Diploma or Degree in any field is required.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a supply chain-related field, preferably in purchasing or procurement, is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills are necessary for success in this role.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus for daily internal and external communication with suppliers.
