Job Description:

The Credit Management & Collection Analyst will be responsible for the entire credit granting process, including consistent application of credit policy, periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and assessment of potential customers' creditworthiness. This aims to optimize sales mix and bad debt losses.

The role involves resolving simple collection issues, performing collection follow-up on potential credit risk accounts with significant past due amounts, monitoring/following up collection actions with outside agencies and legal counsel, managing and mitigating credit risk through analysis of customer financial reports, quarterly filings, debt service ratings, and other reporting tools.

Key responsibilities include establishing and reviewing credit limits for new and existing accounts, working with corporate and regional finance to analyze bad debt reserve requirements, recommending monthly accruals, participating in quotation and proposal stages to ensure appropriate credit terms meet management's cash flow objectives and the corporate credit and collections policy.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring sound decisions regarding releasing/holding customer orders based upon account financial condition.

This role requires excellent communication skills, adaptability, flexibility, and determination to see problems through to a successful resolution. The ideal candidate should thrive in a collaborative team environment passionate about customer care.

Professional Profile:

  • A degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance and/or relevant professional qualification.
  • Open to fresh graduates and experienced individuals.
  • Experience in credit analysis to quantify risk and assign credit limits within established guidelines.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin languages required, with knowledge of additional languages an added advantage.
  • SAP experience advantageous.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
