About the Role:

  • Evaluate and enhance procurement operations using data analysis, forecasting, and reporting tools to ensure efficient processes and meet company objectives.
  • Address and resolve purchasing challenges, including delays, quality issues, and supplier disputes by communicating effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various departments like planning, production, logistics, and quality to ensure smooth operations and monitor inventory levels to ensure stock adequacy and minimize waste.
  • Manage purchase orders from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and drive initiatives related to RBA, TS 16949, ISO 9001/14001, and more.
  • Foster strong working relationships and teamwork within the organization, innovate and provide solutions to workplace challenges, and achieve department and company KPI goals.
  • Work closely with suppliers and QA to resolve quality issues and manage supplier performance, utilizing SAP Business Network for supply chain collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experienced procurement professional in purchasing with proven experience in a senior purchasing role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, self-driven and results-oriented with a clear focus on delivery and cost management.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite, strong analytical skills for market analysis and cost evaluation, and a solid understanding of supply chain management principles.
  • Excellent planning and organizing abilities, with experience in sourcing as an added advantage and familiarity with SAP and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI.
