About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Metrology Engineer to join our team at HID. As a key member of our manufacturing engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing custom solutions to improve the flexibility, productivity, and efficiency of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement RF metrology capabilities to ensure high-quality production.
  • Design and implement machine design PLC programming and wiring for machine modification projects and new equipment development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production line efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Work closely with program and automation managers to implement industrial equipment and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a related field in manufacturing industries.
  • Strong knowledge of automated machines, human machine interface, electrical wiring, and CAD for electrical diagrams.
  • Experience with RFID technology, encoders, and readers.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C# or C++ and development environments like Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • Ability to debug and deploy script or software solutions to production environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with PLC programming (SFC/ST/FB).
  • Knowledge of IT hardware and software.
  • Ability to work in an international team and in a global networking environment.
