Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tax compliance assignments, advising on tax planning and implementation strategies, coaching and guiding team members, and ensuring engagement monitoring and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of Tax Compliance Assignments: Oversee the completion of tax compliance tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Advisory and Tax Planning: Provide expert advice on tax planning and implementation strategies to clients.
- Team Members Coaching & Guiding: Mentor and guide junior team members on tax projects, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Engagement Monitoring – Manage, review and responsible to observe on tax and regulation compliance and procedure.
- Technical and Marketing Functions: Perform technical and marketing functions as required to support business growth.
- Clients and Authorities: Foster strong relationships with clients and relevant authorities, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Business Development: Contribute to business development initiatives, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Other Assignments: Undertake other tasks assigned by superiors, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
Requirements
- Minimum degree in finance/accounting or relevant field.
- Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
