Procurement Strategist

Linkk Busway Systems (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned Procurement Executive to spearhead complex procurement activities and drive strategic sourcing initiatives. This role requires exceptional negotiation skills, analytical prowess, and a deep understanding of supply chain management.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational objectives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
2. Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
3. Manage day-to-day purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
4. Conduct thorough market research, comparing at least 3 quotations before making informed decisions.
5. Sustain a high level of communication with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of procurement operations.
6. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procurement regulations, and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, with a preference for Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles, with a strong background in leadership positions.
• Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills, proficiency in procurement software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of supply chain management, contract law, procurement best practices, and market trends.
