Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Logistics Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of expertise in sourcing and delivery management, with a proven track record of managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing & Supplier Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and select EMS providers, component manufacturers, and raw material suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to define product and material specifications for sourcing.
- Lead supplier negotiations on pricing, lead times, and service levels to drive cost optimization without compromising quality.
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify alternative suppliers and secure a competitive advantage.
- Perform supplier audits and performance evaluations, resolving quality, delivery, or compliance issues proactively.
- Delivery & Logistics Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery process, ensuring timely, cost-efficient transportation of materials from suppliers to internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to optimize shipping routes, reduce lead times, and manage transportation costs.
- Track supplier on-time delivery performance and implement improvements to minimize supply chain disruptions.
- Work closely with inventory teams to align stock levels with demand forecasts, preventing shortages or overstocking.
- Troubleshoot delivery delays and supply chain bottlenecks, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams for quick resolutions.
- Collaboration & Process Optimization:
- Act as the key liaison between suppliers, engineering, production, and logistics teams to ensure sourcing and delivery alignment.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on supplier performance, delivery status, and process improvements.
- Develop data-driven recommendations to enhance sourcing efficiency and supply chain performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and/or supply chain management, preferably in technology or electronics manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of consumer electronics, PCBA sourcing, mechanical and electrical component procurement.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills, with the ability to build long-term, positive supplier relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and delivery management and supply chain risk mitigation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues, find solutions, and implement improvements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, capable of collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with sustainability or ethical sourcing initiatives in the supply chain.
- Familiarity with risk management strategies and their application in sourcing and delivery operations.
