Job Summary

As an Investment Advisor, you will provide comprehensive support to the Relationship Manager in delivering tailored wealth solutions to high net worth clients. This includes communicating global market insights, leveraging the Standard Chartered Wealth Select framework, developing strategic allocation proposals, and contributing to overall Assets Under Management growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive business strategy and financial targets by achieving revenue goals and Assets Under Management growth.
  2. Develop and communicate market views on investment opportunities and product solutions.
  3. Foster collaboration among teams through daily morning briefings on market direction and investment solutions.
  4. Manage client investments through regular portfolio reviews and advice.

Business Responsibilities

  1. Ensure effective training for frontline staff before product launches.
  2. Collaborate with distribution channels to enhance sales competency and coaching.

Risk Management Responsibilities

  1. Implement risk controls and regulations set by the Bank and external authorities, including KYC, proper documentation, risk profiling, and pre-investment forms.
  2. Keep sales teams updated on new regulatory requirements and operating procedures.

Our Ideal Candidate

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or Economics; CFP/CFA candidates or charter holders are advantageous.
  2. Professional Accreditation: FIMM (Federation of Investment Manager Malaysia), IPPC (Investor Protection Professional Certification), PKMC (Pasaran Kewangan Malaysia Certificate).
  3. Minimum 5 years' experience and 3 years in Marketing, Sales, and Investors Advisory.
  4. Must be able to travel for business purposes.
  5. Self-motivated team player with high attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
