Greetings from GM Recruitment We are looking for a seasoned Facilities Maintenance Expert Leader who can manage site facilities operations, including maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery.

This position requires strong leadership skills to manage maintenance tasks efficiently, minimizing machine downtime and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing preventive maintenance procedures, leading improvement and innovation projects for machinery and facilities, and collaborating with vendors/contractors on minor project resolutions.

In addition, this role involves ensuring maintenance operations comply with safety and environmental regulations, supervising contract vendors' technical and maintenance work, and promptly responding to machinery recovery calls.

To excel in this position, you should possess a degree in engineering, preferably in Electrical/Mechanical/Manufacturing, along with at least 5 years hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing.

A solid understanding of machinery, electrical systems, facilities, boilers, compressors, and wastewater treatment is crucial, as well as demonstrated managerial skills with good interpersonal and communication abilities.

Fluency in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Mandarin is required, along with the ability to interpret technical drawings and familiarity with PLC, machine control systems, robotics, solar energy, boilers, and wastewater treatment operations.

  • At least Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Manufacturing)
  • Minimum 5 years hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing
  • Strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of machinery, electrical systems, facilities, boilers, compressors, and wastewater treatment
  • Demonstrated managerial skills with good interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in reading and writing in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Mandarin
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings
  • Familiarity with PLC, machine control systems, robotics, solar energy, boilers, and wastewater treatment operations
