Service Operations Leadership

The Service Operations Leader is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the workshop production process. This involves leading multi-skilled teams in delivering agreed services and quality at the promised time, while fulfilling Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize workshop flow by leading and supporting technicians to ensure safety, quality, and cost-efficient job performances.
  • Interact with the Service Advisor for planning work orders and monitor progress in real-time to fulfill customer and SHE requirements.
  • Lead the workshop by prioritizing work and allocating tasks according to employees' competence, abilities, and workshop capacity.
  • Monitor work progress and spot deviations in delivery time, re-planning the workshop as needed.
  • Review work orders to ensure that all actions have been documented according to workshop policies and procedures.
  • Identify, suggest, and decide if additional work is needed, informing Service Advisors thereof.
Education Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school education and team leadership experience or education.
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry or workshop environment.
  • A driver's license, with specific licenses required for certain test drives.
