Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our International Sales Department at Fortinet. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Sales Team to position our Email Security solutions, drive field Systems Engineers in their projects, and report product evolution requests to Product Management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide second-level pre-sales support to the field SE organization, assisting with RFPs/RFIs, solution specification, and product information.
  2. Support key projects to ensure Fortinet's success, leading technical discussions, articulating technology, and demonstrating differentiated value.
  3. Conduct compelling solution presentations, demonstrations, and POCs, providing hands-on technical assistance.
  4. Build technical material to support sales activities, including slideware, solution briefs, white papers, success stories, technical notes, and TOIs.
  5. Effectively disseminate product knowledge to the Sales Team and Channel.
  6. Act as a point of contact for the Product Management team, responsible for reporting and consolidating customer needs, validating business cases, and writing feature requests.
  7. Report project activities, analyze project trends, and provide market vision.
  8. Participate in the development of commercial strategies.
  9. Travel as required in the INTL region.
Requirements:

Business/Personal:

  1. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
  2. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with self-motivation and a drive to succeed.
  3. Collaboration and team working skills, with the ability to evaluate end-user business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  4. Ability to manage multiple tasks and opportunities, generate product demand at scale, and be self-motivated.

Technical:

  1. Expertise in email-related protocols and standards (SMTP, LDAP, DANE).
  2. Solid understanding of email security policies, email routing, DLP, and archiving.
  3. Extensive hands-on experience with email system configuration, security, and troubleshooting.
  4. Experience with Secure Email Gateway deployment for large enterprises (both cloud and on-premises).
  5. Good experience with Microsoft 365 Exchange Online and Exchange Server.
  6. Familiarity with cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.
  7. Good knowledge of Threat Intelligence, Cloud Security, Network Security, Identity and Access Management.
  8. Linux administration skills.
  9. Scripting skills.
  10. REST API knowledge.
Experience:

10 years' experience in a pre-sales or customer-facing IT consultancy role, with experience of presenting to large groups, working in a distributed team, and experience with any major SEG vendor.
