Equipment Optimization: Collaborate with maintenance and equipment teams to optimize equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive maintenance programs. Recommend equipment upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency and reliability.


Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of processes, procedures, and changes to facilitate analysis, audits, and continuous improvement.


Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, equipment engineering, development, quality, and management, to address challenges and implement improvements. Provide training and guidance to production staff on new processes, equipment, and procedures.


Qualifications and Requirements:


  1. REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, science, mechanical, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  2. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, process optimization techniques, and quality management systems.
  3. Proficiency in process simulation software, statistical analysis tools, and 8D problem-solving methodology.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. PREFERRED: Relevant 5-6 years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing roles, preferably in the process engineer sector.
  8. Experience, skills, and knowledge in 4IR is a great advantage.
  9. Eagerness to stay updated with advancements in technology and manufacturing processes.
Key Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to troubleshoot process and product issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Proficiency in analyzing process and product performance data, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing improvements.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, articulate technical information, and collaborate on projects.
  • Skills in managing projects related to new product introduction, process/machine upgrades, or process improvements, including budgeting and scheduling are added advantages.
