About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our team at Elsa Talent Solutions Sdn. Bhd. as a key member of our industrial automation and control systems team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of air compressors and air dryers, as well as the design and implementation of new mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supply and Installation of Air Compressors and Dryers

The Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for the supply and installation of new air compressors and air dryers, ensuring that all equipment is properly installed and functioning as required.

Engineering and Design of Mechanical Systems

The successful candidate will be responsible for the engineering and design of new mechanical systems, including foundations, electrical cabling, overhead cranes, and roller shutter doors.

Upgrade of Electrical Systems

The Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for the upgrade of MCC breakers for air compressors and air dryers, including cable laying and installation.

Modification of Existing Pipe Routing and Isolation Points

The successful candidate will be responsible for the engineering and modification of existing pipe routing and isolation points to ensure efficient and safe operation.

Installation of Centralized PLC System Control

The Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for the installation of a centralized PLC system control for air compressors and air dryers, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

Rental of Air Compressor and Dryer during EPIC

The successful candidate will be responsible for the rental of air compressors and dryers during EPIC for KTNCS operation, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and functioning as required.

Installation of Pre-Lube System

The Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for the installation of a pre-lube system for preliminary engine lubrication, ensuring efficient and safe operation.

Supply and Installation of Alltronic III Ignition System

The successful candidate will be responsible for the supply and installation of an Alltronic III ignition system with detailed feedback, diagnostic capabilities, and auto timing adjustment connected to PLC.

Supply and Installation of Generator Panel and PLC Panel

The Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for the supply and installation of a generator panel and PLC panel with modbus communication capability, including wiring for data trending monitoring and alarm record.

Requirements
  • Diploma or Professional/Vocational Certificates in Mechanical Engineering or a Related Field

The successful candidate will hold a diploma or professional/vocational certificates in mechanical engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 5 Years of Experience in Mechanical Supervision

The Mechanical Supervisor will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical supervision, including the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems.

Proven Experience with Air Compressors, Air Dryers, and Control Systems

The successful candidate will have proven experience with air compressors, air dryers, and control systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

Strong Understanding of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Principles

The Mechanical Supervisor will have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles, ensuring efficient and safe operation.

Excellent Leadership and Team Management Skills

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and team management skills, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with other departments.

Strong Problem-Solving Abilities and Attention to Detail

The Mechanical Supervisor will have strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
