Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineering Manager to support our teams in building great products and contributing to our growth. This role is responsible for managing the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of testing procedures, strategies, systems, components, and modifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Advise the test engineering team on projects, tasks, and operations, and act as a liaison to other engineering functions.
  2. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  3. Direct and/or coordinate electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.
  4. Determine conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
  5. Interface and confer with scientific, engineering, and technical personnel to resolve testing problems.
  6. Analyze and interpret test data and prepare technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.
  7. Develop or use computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software.
  8. Train and instruct floor support, test technicians, and test operators on test hardware and/or software, as well as proper problem-solving techniques.
  9. Resolve test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures, and monitoring improvements.
  10. Coordinate all activities and all testers during each testing phase of a project or program.
  11. Maintain awareness of testing alternatives at a level where they can be analyzed and the most effective testing strategy selected and agreed upon.
  12. Assess and advise on the practicality of testing process alternatives.
  13. Identify improvements to the process and assist in their implementation.
  14. Ensure that any risks associated with the agreed test strategy and the system test plan are clearly documented and described to the clients/users and colleagues.
  15. Manage all risks associated with the testing and take preventative action when any risks become unacceptable.
  16. Plan, arrange, and control meetings, workshops, and relations with client/user staff during test planning and throughout subsequent development and testing activities.

Requirements:

  • Possesses a Degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 13 years of working experience in the related field is required.
