The successful candidate will have a strong background in compliance and risk management, with experience in implementing risk management frameworks and compliance systems. You will be responsible for supporting the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer in managing business needs, stakeholders, and implementing the Munich Re Group Risk Management Framework and Compliance Management System at Munich Re Retakafl.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer in risk management and compliance matters;
  • Implementing the Munich Re Group Risk Management Framework and Compliance Management System requirements;
  • Developing, reviewing, and enhancing Shariah Risk and Compliance Management related guidelines, procedures, and frameworks;
  • Identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting key exposures and risks, and managing these key risks;
  • Overseeing information security risk and controls at Munich Re Retakafl;
  • Fulfilling Bank Negara Malaysia risk management requirements, including Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process and ORION reporting;
  • Creating a compliance culture and training, monitoring legal changes, performing compliance risk management, and carrying out compliance monitoring and reporting;
  • Managing and maintaining risk management and compliance policies and programmes, including credit management, cyber security, anti-money laundering, and data protection;
  • Coordinating requests and responses to regulators.
