The role of the Accounting Professional at Roche Services (Asia Pacific) Sdn Bhd involves ensuring timely and accurate closure of accounts, preparation of accounting journals, and submission of financial reports. The successful candidate will also support internal and external audit matters, perform backup functions, and engage in continuous improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Closure of Accounts: Co-ordinate and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate closure of accounts.
- Accounting Journals: Prepare accounting journals and ensure they are prepared accurately and posted on time.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation, highlight anomalies, and rectify them.
- Reporting: Submit monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting packages accurately and within specified timescales.
- Degree in Finance & Accounting/Commerce or Equivalent graduate with a minimum of 3 to 4 years of working experience in the related field.
- Good communication skills and ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Mandarin-speaking ability is an added advantage.
- SAP knowledge or other ERP accounting systems and MS.
