We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our team at Kaifa Technology Malaysia. This is a unique opportunity to lead and develop product quality control plans and product inspection standards, ensuring the highest level of quality in our products.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate CQE team to handle major quality issues from customer complaints and feedback.
- Responsible for collecting and confirming quality issues in NPI stage.
- Lead and handle quality from customer feedback/complaints, improve and follow-up corrective action and respond to 8D reports.
- Lead and develop product quality control plans and product inspection standards. For Deviation shipment and UAI, determine whether to release the final solution or not based on evidence and data review and risk assessment.
- Lead the customer's product audit, organize and prepare relevant audit materials, and promote improvement actions based on findings and NC items from audit.
- Follow up on product certification, FA, and handling of RMA, determine responsibility of root cause, and make RMA summary report.
- Follow up the project from NPI stage to mass production and daily management.
- Responsible for customer document interpretation and DFM analysis, product flow chart design, and product line layout.
- Evaluate and quote for equipment & fixture input, manpower, UPH, and accessories cost.
- Responsible for the process requirement of the fixture fabrication, PFMEA, control plan (CP), work instruction, etc.
- Continuously improve process quality, efficiency, and manufacturing cost.
- Participate in company quality system audit, customer audit, and output/revise necessary audit documentation.
- Develop test schemes based on customer product testing requirements, design and develop test systems and machines.
- Lead the test technical team to support production line testing work and continuously improve the team's working ability.
- Commit to continuously improving the test pass rate, test efficiency, and test machine stability, while reducing test costs.
- Responsible for new product test NRE quotation, test NPI, and customer test document understanding and absorption.
- Introduce new test methods and techniques, and be responsible for the training of technicians and assistant engineers.
- Work with colleagues in other departments to drive product quality improvement and share information related to testing.
- Communicate with customers to solve test-related problems.
