About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cloud Deployment Engineer to join our client's team. This role is essential for maintaining and optimizing our Linux server infrastructure, ensuring the security, performance, and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and administer Linux servers, including user management, package management, troubleshooting, networking, storage, and security.
  • Automate infrastructure tasks using Ansible, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
  • Manage AWS services such as VPC, EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, and NAT Gateway.
  • Orchestrate and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Provide on-call support for troubleshooting Linux OS and performance issues.
  • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to streamline deployment processes.
  • Configure load balancers and ensure high availability for Linux machines.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize system performance and implement proactive monitoring solutions.
  • Provision storage volumes, manage zoning, and create port groups and data stores.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.

Key Qualifications:

  • Over 4 years of experience in Linux systems administration and engineering.
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible and CloudFormation.
  • Expertise in AWS services including VPC, EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, and NAT Gateway.
  • Experience with container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of BASH scripting.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline creation and automation using Jenkins.
  • Proficient in configuring load balancers and ensuring high availability.
  • Hands-on experience with storage provisioning and management.
  • Excellent teamwork, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Ansible, Chef, and Terraform.
